Timothy J. Holt

Timothy J Holt was born on July 26, 1963 to Linda K Atchison and James F Holt. He passed away on August 20, 2023 following a long battle of multiple health issues. He was a 1981 graduate of Mitchell High School. Tim led a fulfilling life and had a variety of interests and passions. He had a strong connection with his family and made meaningful connections with friends and colleagues throughout his life. His dedication to his military service and his pride in retiring from the military after 23 years is truly commendable. It's clear that he cherished his time in the Army and the friendships he formed during that time. Timothy's love for running, his involvement in Track and Cross Country at Mitchell High School, his dedication to his work at General Electric for fourteen years and Metal Technologies, as well as his passion for NASCAR racing and his favorite track at Kentucky Speedway, all showcase the different aspects of his life that brought him joy and purpose. Tim is preceded in death by his mother Linda K Atchison, his grandparents Leland Atchison, Maxine Atchison, Mackie Atchison, Mary Holt, and Menlo Holt, his aunts Karen Nash and Susan Forbes, his uncle Don Holt, cousins Sherry Nash and Troy Allen. Tim is survived by his Sisters Tonya Stroud and Tyra (Ty) Holt, his nephews Nicholas Stroud, Austin Stroud, and Jacob Stroud. His father James Holt. His great Aunts Patty (James) Blevins, Brenda Burton. His great Uncle Eugene Atchison. His uncles Don (Jewell) Atchison and Wayne Holt. His Aunt Anita Browne and many cousins and friends. The family is very appreciative of the Fresenius Medical Care nurses and staff as Tim was a patient for twelve years with them. He was close to the nurses and staff almost like his second family. Thanks for taking care of him for us. While there will be no formal services, per Tim’s request, a celebration of his life will provide an opportunity for friends and family to come together to remember and honor him. The memories and experiences shared in this tribute serve as a testament to the impact he had on those around him.
