Trevor Scott Mullis

Trevor’s love of life was as big as his smile, and if you know Trevor you know his smile. There’s nothing that mattered more to him than being a great father and husband. Trevor loved being a family man and having his kids and their friends around. He would often be found in the yard having a bonfire or stargazing with his family. He had fierce expectations and a lion’s gentle heart! Trevor had a huge laugh which echoed around him and was heard during the many family game nights. He was always supporting & coaching his kids in their activities including cheer, track, softball, baseball, lacrosse, and youth football. He loved good music, great food and put on amazing fireworks shows! He enjoyed going to concerts and comedy shows. He was always happy watching the Colts, Reds, UFC, fishing at his parent’s pond, and sprint car races. When Trevor was at home he liked to cook, bake, and feed people. You’re a lucky person if you’ve ever tasted his pumpkin pie or pumpkin roll which of course wouldn’t be complete without his homemade whip cream. Trevor is survived by his wife Kara (Dougherty), and children Logan, Lucy and Kenley, his parents Shannon and Rick Duncan, and his brother Jeff Duncan (Lindsey Whaley), Uncle Kenny and Aunt Brenda Mullis whom he spent countless weekends when growing up, and mother-in-law MaryAnn Dougherty. Trevor became part of Kara’s huge family in their 28years together. He was preceded in death by grandparents Faye & George Terrell, Genevieve & Albert Mullis and father-in-law Mark Dougherty. Trevor graduated from Edgewood High School in 1995, where he played football and wrestled. Trevor then graduated from Vincennes University. Trevor has enjoyed careers in land surveying at USI Consultants, commercial flooring sales at CarpetsPlus Colortile, and was currently a project manager at R&M Electric in Danville of IBEW 481. He thrived at figuring out a challenge and had a passion for learning new things, which made him excel in his career. Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM-5:00 PM on Saturday, October 12th, 2024 at Allen Funeral Home, 4155 S. Old State Road 37 Bloomington, Indiana.
