Clara Catherine Eller Krebbs

CLARA CATHERINE KREBBS OF BLOOMINGTON, INDIANA BORN JANURARY 12, 1944 passed away peacefully on March 14, 2021 at 338am in her home surrounded by loved ones. She is the daughter of Clarence and Ruby (Mitchell) Eller. Clara attented Bloomington High School, and worked many jobs, RCA, Food Mark, fast food, Plastic Co, Homemaker, Cub Scouts and Brownie troop leader plus many other titles. Survivors include her husband of 61 years John C Krebbs Jr., 2 Sons David and Michele Krebbs, Danny (Lana) Krebbs, and Daughter Catherine “Bowbie” Krebbs. All of Bloomington, She has 6 grandkids, Desirae and Josh Hixson of Ellettsville, Dustin and Sara Krebbs, Jake (Jackie) Krebbs, Samantha Elkins, Kendra (Codey) Morris and Danika (Michael) Owens. All from Bloomington and 1 brother Larry and Doris Eller, also of Bloomington Indiana. As well as many nieces and Nephews. We can’t forget her lush of enjoyment of 21 great-grandkids. Dillon, Riley and Hadley Elkins, Bryson and Brayden Morris, Eli and Easton Strole, Aiden Hawkins. Averi, Karson, Tate, Finnley, Jaxson and Kase Krebbs, Aubrey and Allie Wilcoxen, Braylen Allen, Ryder and Skylar Houshour, Ava and Adalee Hixson. She was preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Ruby (Mitchell) Eller, grandparents, Siblings Etta Benson, Brenda Martindale, Anna Hatton, Betty Dyer, Clarence “Bub” Eller. Grandson Joshua S Owens. Plus many aunts, uncle, cousins etc….. Clara was loved by many family, friends and acquaintance. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Clara took pride in watching her grandsons play baseball, basketball, and many other sports. Her first love was Johnny, and then the rest of her family. Clara loved doing things with her husband like gambling, camping, boating, traveling, flea markets and shopping. Clara had amazing heart, she loved caring for loved ones and friends. Clara also volunteered her spare time at nursing homes, Moose Lodge 1081. Clara was member of Bridge Church of Christ, Plus active member women of moose chapter 839 for 46 years. Pallbearers include Dustin Krebbs, Jacob Krebbs, Dillon Elkins, Bryson Morris Brayden Morris and Braylen Allen. Visitation for Clara will be held Saturday March 20, 2021 from 10:30AM to 11:30AM at Allen Funeral Home and Crematory 4155 South Old State Road 37. In light of the Covid-19 issues social distancing and the wearing of masks or face coverings will be required. Private Family services will be held at Valhalla Memorial Gardens with Rick Shimkus as the officiant. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contribution go to family. They would like to donate money to a non for profit organization in the memory of Clara.
