Elizabeth H. Davidson

This is my great Grandma. She is amazing. She died November 20 2020. She was 93 years old. I will miss her and all her great stories from when she was a kid but I no she will always be in our hearts. She was GRANDMA THE GREAT!! Love you Grandma great. Breckyn May age 8 11-20-2020. We are all mourning for Elizabeth H. Davidson mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, friend and neighbor. Born 1-17-1927 to Irish-Scotch immigrants Hugh O'Neill and Helen Laburn O'Neill and raised in Kearny, New Jersey. Married John K. Davidson on July 25,1948 worked hard and with John and her children moved to Bloomington, Indiana in 1965. John was an employee of Otis Elevator and "Betty" began working at the G.E. Refrigerator plant. Betty worked there for 20 years and said she always enjoyed working with the women of sub assembly. Husband John passed away in 1997 and Betty spent her remaining years taking care of the rest of the Davidson clan from her family home in Bloomington. Betty was preceded in death by two sisters Margaret Udis and Grace Amato and brother Robert O'Neill all from New Jersey. She is survived by her sister Mary Skerry and brother Hugh O'Neill both of New Jersey. Betty is also survived by son Kenneth R Davidson and wife Deborah and granddaughter Lauren and her partner Carla and great grandson Caden all of Terre Haute, In. Grandson Courtney and his wife Jenni of Melbourne, Australia. Adopted grand children Maggie and husband Bobby Asare ,children Zane and Paige, Ellie and her children Dizzy and Rue and Chase, children of son Ken's wife Deborah. Son John S. Davidson of Bloomington. Daughter Janice and husband Robert Chestnut of Bloomington. Janice's daughter Kasie and husband Nate May with great grandkids Killian and (author) Breckyn. Roberts daughter Anitra Ham and her son Jacob. Lovingly Betty will alway be remembered by all of us. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2020 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Allen Funeral Home and Crematory 4155 South Old State Road 37. A private family funeral will be held for Betty.
