Marjorie Lois (Vore) Eherenman

Marjorie Lois (Vore) Eherenman, Margie, Mom, Grammy and Great Grammy went to be with our Lord and Savior on July 10, 2023. She passed peacefully at Hearthstone with her daughter, Susan by her side. Marge was 94. She was born on May 24, 1929 in Chicago, IL. to Dr. Louring William Vore and Leona Fern (Holsinger) Vore. She was raised in Plymouth, IN. where her father was a founding physician of Plymouth’s hospital. Margie attended Christian College in Columbia, MO. Marjorie married the love of her life, Richard Lloyd Eherenman, also from Plymouth, IN. They eloped on April 15, 1949. They celebrated their 71st wedding anniversary before Dick’s passing on April 17th, 2020. They moved to Bloomington, IN. and purchased a Culligan franchise...”Hey Culligan Man!” Marge worked as a foreign student admissions officer for Indiana University, where she retired in 2000. Dick and Marge were longtime members of St Marks UMC, joining in 1956. She belonged to Jaycees, Tri Kappa, Elks club, Bloomington Friday Musicale and was an avid bridge player with her treasured lifetime friends. Dick and Marge raised their four beloved children in Bloomington, IN. The family enjoyed annual 2-week camping trips, making a visit to 48-states. She enjoyed boating, especially at Lake Monroe, often culminating with a picnic dinner for six. They enjoyed riding their Honda Goldwing motorcycle on trips with friends, long afternoon rides, and taking the grandchildren on short rides. Marjorie is survived by her four children: Susan (Steve) Gobert of Columbus, IN., David (Sandi) Eherenman of N Fort Myers, FL,. Sarah (Pat) True of Bloomington, IN., Sally (Mark) Scott of Fort Myers, FL. She has 8 grandchildren: Ryan (Amber) Gobert, Matt (Lacey) Gobert, 1SG Joshua (Kristin) Eherenman, MAJ Richard (Caroline) Eherenman, Caleb (Gina) True, Dr. Kyle True, Katie True, Shelby (Chris) Gorski and 15 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her brother Dr. Robert Owen Vore, Plymouth, IN., and her sister Mary Kathryn (Vore) Kintner, Wenatchee, WA., and many dear nieces and nephews. The family is extremely grateful for and would like to thank the many loving caregivers who assisted Margie in this final part of her journey. According to her wishes, Marjorie will be cremated and will be laid to rest at Clear Creek cemetery where a private family service will be held at a later date.
