Tana Jo Bundy

Tana Jo Bundy (Robinson), age 62 of Bloomington passed away on July 27, 2024 at her home surrounded by family. She was born on June 11, 1962 to Robert (Bob) Robinson and Connie Abrams (Crouch). Tana attended Bloomington High School North and was a cosmetology school graduate in 1991. She was a lifetime member of the Moose Lodge 1081 and enjoyed waitressing there for 32 years. Tana has taken pride in being a special needs bus driver for Monroe County School Corporation for the last 20 years. One of her most enjoyable jobs was being a foster parent for the past 30 years to several kids. Taking family camping trips, going fishing, playing bingo, riding motorcycles and watching her children and grandchildren play in sports were a few of her favorite things to do. Tana also attended Turning Point Church of the Nazarene in Heltonville and loved her church family. Most importantly her all-time favorite was spending quality time with her family. Those who knew Tana knew she had the biggest heart full of love for all. If you needed something no matter what it may be she was always there to lend a hand to all who knew her. Having 3 daughters she took in many others who she cared for and loved as her own gaining the name Momma T. She has help shaped so many young peoples lives into the person they are today. Tana is survived by her daughters; Shelly Bundy-Hendershot (Josh), Kelsey Mikels (Jeremy), Victoria Parsons (Jason), sons; Carter and Caiden Richardson and Jackson and Josiah Sumner, stepdaughter Kary O'Conner (Greg), bonus daughters; Danielle Richardson, Kylee Eads, Amber Helms, Sydney DeWater and Melissa Heist Edwards, bonus son Danny Sumner, grandchildren; Josie (Tyson), Walker, Brylee and Brylynn Hendershot, Destiny Jacobs, Aubree Mull (Montana), Kameron and MaKenna Epson-White, MaKenzie Cunningham-White, Hunter, Dakota, Hadlee, Bailey and Logan Mikels, Jayce, Jonah and Rose Parsons, great grandsons Weston and Conway Mull, two sisters; Lana Wray and Cindy Eads, brother Larry Stancombe, two stepsisters; Wendy England and Marla Stancombe and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Tana is also survived by friends for life Rick Bundy and Jimmy Helms. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents Thomas and Pearl Crouch, grandparents Paul and Kathrine Robinson, stepfather John Abrams, sister Loretta Turner, nephew Levi Terrell and bonus son Terry Tolbert. The family requests if you have a motorcycle please ride it and let's give Tana her final ride. Tana's favorite color was orange so family is also inviting everyone to join them in wearing orange. Visitation will be 10:30am-1:30pm Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Allen Funeral Home and Crematory, 4155 South Old State Road 37 in Bloomington. Funeral services will be 1:30pm at the funeral home with Pastor Duane Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Clover Hill Cemetery. The family requests that memorial contributions may be made to Turning Point Church of the Nazerene, 45 Jefferson St. Heltonville, IN 47436.
