Timothy D. "Tim" White

Timothy D. “Tim” White, 65, of Bloomington passed away on Sunday March 12, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 10, 1957 in Bloomington, Indiana, the son of John Otto and Mary Elizabeth (Turpin) White. Tim attended Bloomington High School South. He married Teresa Beth Eads on October 11, 2007 in Bloomington, Indiana. Tim was a devoted and loving husband, and father. Tim worked as a general contractor for most of his life. He was also a longtime employee of the Video Saloon working for Mike Black, as well as, working at the Pit Stop for Jim Morgan for many years. Tim attended the New Horizon Church in Smithville. He had many interests in life including the love of music, attending concerts, watching local dirt track racing, NASCAR, and IU Basketball. He loved being a Papaw and loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed. Tim is survived by his wife, Teresa B. White of Bloomington; his children, Kyle White; Jessica (Timothy) Ellet; Brandon White all of Bloomington; stepchildren, Cristene (Mark) Smith of Spencer; Heather Hernandez of New Hampshire; Angela (Dayne) Goggans of Lafayette; Jenna (Jeremy) Ayres of Spencer; fourteen grandchildren, Zane; AJ; Jax; Destiny; Riley; Lillian; Daylen; Draedyn; Jessa; Jaynie; Andrew; Kearston; Brandon; Isiah; and a baby boy (Ayres) on the way. Five great grandchildren; his mother, Mary E. (Jim) Quick of Bloomington; one brother, Tom (Tamara) White of Bloomington; one sister, Sarah (Pat) Melone of Morgantown; an uncle, Mike (Brenda) Turpin; an aunt, Pam Pedro; two nephews, Nick White and Seth Melone; his brother-in-law, Mark (Lori) Eads. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Balford & Emma Jane Turpin; his father, John White; a niece, Emily Downey; and six aunts & uncles, Tom Turpin; Judy Treadway; Jacqueline Kerr; Brenda Mullis; Linda Abdulla and Gloria Turpin. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, March 18, 2023 at the Allen Funeral Home 4155 S. Old St Rd 37. With Terry Myers officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm to service time Saturday at the funeral home. Allen Funeral Home and Crematory have been entrusted with arrangements.
