William Randall Entrican

William Randall Entrican passed away on November 26th 2024 at his daughter Cynthia’s home in Bloomington Indiana, comforted by his family and friends. Randy was born on October 14th, 1947, in Paris Illinois, the eldest son of Olin and Dollie (Furry) Entrican. Randy graduated from Paris High School in 1965. He enlisted in the US Navy and Served in the Vietnam War. After his time in the Navy, he enlisted in the US Marine Corps and served at the Communications Center in Homestead Florida. After leaving the service, he worked at the National Guard Armory in Paris Illinois, the US Post Office in Mattoon Illinois, and Meco Inc in Paris Illinois. He enjoyed Music, sports cars, and motorcycles as a young man. In later life he resided in Chrisman Illinois, and the last year of his life at Brookstone Independent Living facility in Paris, Illinois. He was a member of Horace Baptist Church of Chrisman Illinois. He was preceded in Death by his father Olin Entrican, Mother Dollie Entrican, and brother Doyle Entrican. He is survived by his sister Dori Allen (Steve) of Paris Illinois, Sister-in-law Charla (Jeanie) Entrican (Doyle) of Paris Illinois, and daughters Amy Perez (George) of Terre Haute Indiana, Kristina Opalesky of Arvada Colorado, and Cynthia Koessler (Kevin) of Bloomington Indiana, and grandchildren Justin Miller, Maya Bowman, Colby Opalesky, Juliana Opalesky, and Laurelle Kattie, and niece and nephew Jennifer Sumner and Josh Sumner. His service will be a graveside service at Pleasant Hill Cemetery on Sunday January 5th, 2024 at 1pm CST at 4001 E 300th Road, Kansas Illinois 61933. Officiated by Rev. Carol L. Hasler. Family is being assisted by Stewart and Carroll Funeral Home for graveside service and Allen Funeral Home in Bloomington. He is being honored for his military service at Graveside through the Paris VFW. Special thanks to Heart-to-Heart Hospice for the amazing care and support given to Randy and the family during this difficult time.
