Caleb James Cowden, 29 of Bloomington passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 in Bloomington, Indiana He was born on June 19, 1992, in Bloomington, Indiana the son of Angela (Cowden) Branam and David Avery Knight Jr. He addended of Bloomington High School South. Caleb enjoyed going to the races, swimming, going to the lake, fishing, football and wresting, he loved all his dogs, running around with his friends, hanging out with girls he was a smooth talker, teasing the people he loved, He had a big heart and would do anything to help people, He will be greatly missed. Caleb is survived by his momma, Angela Cowden Branam of Bloomington; his step father, “Daddy Bob” Bob Branam of Bloomington one brother, Justin (Shirley) Kemp of Bedford; his nieces and nephews, Jayden, Francesca, Domenico, and Katie; aunts Julie Cowden Shields; Sheri Hughs; Debbie Simpson; Tricia Scott; Laura Lowther; Michele Guenin; Julie Ward; and Beth Ann Manion; uncles, James Cowden and Wesley Cowden; grandmother Linda Herthel of Bedford; family friend adopted aunt Michelle “Shell” Ball; and loved by cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, David Avery Knight Jr.; grandfathers, James “Jimmy” Cowden and David Avery Knight Sr.; step grandfather Fred Herthel; adopted Grandfather Bud Dixon; his grandmother, Rebecca Manion. In lieu of flowers the family ask memorial contributions to be made to the Bloomington Animal Shelter. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation Rights have been accorded.
