David E. Hollars Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

David E. Hollars, 66, of Bloomington, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2020 at the IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. David was born on October 23, 1953 in Bloomington, Indiana the son of Vernon Frank and Cecil Anne (Turpin) Sullivan. He attended Bloomington South High School. He worked for Tevac Heating and Cooling for several years and then for Aliano Heating and Cooling for several years both in Bloomington. He enjoyed the outdoors, mushroom hunting, he liked to spend time at the lake skiing, swimming, and fishing, he loved his family and spending time with family and friends. he had a heart of gold, and an amazing will to live, and that he spent every day that he could trying to live his life to the fullest. He will be greatly missed. David is survived by his wife Kathy Hollars of Bloomington; his children, Stacey Hollars of Denver, CO; Trishila (Kevin) Salyers and Michelle (David Arthur) Hollars both of Bloomington; Eleven grandchildren, Paula Tacyiana, Leon, Charlie, Stacey, Brady, Alex, Bentley, Austin, Izac, Kailynn; two great grandchildren, Maverick and Ava Beth; three sisters, Alice Rogers; Shirley (Rick) Evans; Cathy (Bob) Rogers; four brothers, Tom (Sandy) Hudson; Jack (Sandy) Hudson, Mike (Jeanie) Sullivan and Joe (Linda) Hudson all of Bloomington; and several nieces and nephews. There are no service scheduled at this time. Cremation Rites have been accorded. He will be buried at Solsberry Cemetery. Allen Funeral Home and Crematory have been entrusted with arrangements.
