Deborah Carol Jacobs Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Deborah Carol Jacobs, 68, of Bloomington passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at her home with her family by her side. She was born on December 4, 1953 in Kokomo, Indiana the daughter of Perry Wesley and Jennie Marie (White) Trader. Debbie was a 1971 graduate of Owen Valley High School in Spencer, IN. She married Larry Dean Jacobs on February 4, 1972 in Spencer, Indiana. Debbie worked as a home health care aid for over thirty years in the Bloomington area before retiring in 2016. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, she enjoyed making crafts and flower gardening, and chickens., she also loved coordinating family get-togethers and spending time with family and friends. She will be greatly missed. Debbie is survived by her husband, Larry Dean Jacobs of Bloomington; her children, Elizabeth (David) Young of Evansville; Wesley (Stephany) Jacobs of Bloomington; Matthew Jacobs of Bloomington; seven grandchildren, Reese; Rhiannon; Marin; Madalynn; Farrah; Hunter and Reyanna; her siblings; Perry (Linda) Trader; Irma Pegg; Jim (Ellen) Trader; Charles (Nancy) Trader; Janice (Greg) Raymond; and Donald (Donnette) Trader; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Jennie Trader; and nephew, Kent Trader; her brother-in-law Morris Pegg. A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at the Allen Funeral Home 4155 S. Old St Rd 37. Bloomington. With Rev. Scott Dyer officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00am to 1:00pm Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at the funeral home. Cremation Rites have been accorded. Allen Funeral Home and Crematory have been entrusted with arrangements.
