Janet Jacobs, 67, of Bloomington passed away peacefully on Friday October 2, 2020. She was born in Bedford, Indiana. Janet was a blessing to family and friends for her kindness and willingness to help when needed. Her nephews have fond memories of spending time with her during summer vacations, always fun times with Aunt Janet. Janet had a long and successful career as a Special Education Teacher in the Bedford School System. She was preceded in death by her parents Marion (Dutch) and Mary Jane Jacobs. She is survived by her brother Larry Jacobs (Nancy), niece Carole Connor (Shane), nephews Eric Jacobs (Jackie and Jude) and Ryan Jacobs. There will be a private family service. Donations in memory can be made to the Bloomington Animal Shelter through Allen Funeral Home. Allen Funeral Home and Crematory have been entrusted with arrangements.
