Jeffrey "Jeff" Michael Waters Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jeffrey “Jeff” Michael Waters, 59, of Solsberry was called to heaven on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, after a two-year battle with pancreatic cancer. Jeff was a veteran serving his country for almost fifteen years; eleven years in the Navy as an Aviation Mechanic and Three ½ years in the National Guard in Bloomington. He recently retired from Crane Naval Base as a Mechanical Engineering Technician of 20 years. In his spare time, Jeff loved creating things with his hands. He loved drawing, painting, working with stained glass, woodworking, welding and metal work, leather crafting, sewing, and cooking. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting, and being outdoors. There was nothing he tried that he couldn’t master. Jeff is survived by his wife Tammy of Solsberry, daughters Cortney Fulcher (William) of Ellettsville and Jennifer Harmon (Brandon) of Bargersville, a step-daughter, Sydney Nowakowski of Victor, ID, and his grandchildren Kage, Kora, Wyatt, Brooks, Mason, & Drake. His sister Debbie (Bill) and nephews Matt, Joe, and Adam also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents Bernard (Bernie) & Dorothy (Dot) Waters A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 12:00pm Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church 2222 E. 3rd Street Bloomington. With Father Thomas Kovatch officiating. Visitation will be held at 11 am until the start of Mass at Noon at the church. Burial will follow at Clear Creek Cemetery. For those unable to attend, the Mass will be carried live on the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Bloomington, YouTube channel.
