Joe Richard McKnight

Joe Richard McKnight, 65, of Bloomington passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at the Golden Living Center after an extended illness. He was born on July 31, 1956 in Clovis, New Mexico the son of Joe and Dorothy May (Koehn) McKnight. Joe was a 1974 graduate of Lynwood High School in Lynwood, California. Joe worked as a plumber for over 15 years in both California and in Colorado. He enjoyed Baseball, and he loved his family especially his grandchildren, and loved spending time with family and friends. “Big Joe” was a gentle giant who was deeply loved and will be missed. Joe is survived by his wife, Patsy McKnight; children, Nahwahkah (Kristopher Lanz) Romans of Bloomfield; John McKnight of California; eight grandchildren, Aden; Gavyn: Dylan; Peytyn; Jhordin; Jayceon; London; and Journey; his sister, Zada (Mike) Scott of Georgia; his brother, Robert (Karen) Nadeau of California; and nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in Death by his parents, Joe and Dorothy McKnight and a sister, Mary McKnight. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation Rites have been accorded.
