Judy Ellen (Martindale) Hutcherson

Judy Ellen (Martindale) Hutcherson, 76, of Bloomington passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at the Richland Bean Blossom Heath Care Center in Ellettsville. She was born on June 17, 1945 in Greene County Indiana the daughter of Paul Martindale and Thelma Gerdley. Judy was a 1963 graduate of Odon High School. She married Jerry Wayne Hutcherson on August 29, 1975 in Bloomington, Indiana. Judy attended the Eastview Church of the Nazarene in Bloomington; she was passionate about garage sales and auctions collecting many treasures over the years which she proudly displayed throughout her home. Judy is survived by her loving husband of forty-seven years, Jerry Wayne Hutcherson, who was by her side until her passing; her daughters, Misty and Steve Stillions of Bloomington; Terri Lynn Carmichael and Damian Grove of Bloomington; Cindy Wikle-Pielemeier and Alan of Loogootee; stepsons, Dennis Hutcherson and Devin Hutcherson; granddaughters, Amanda and Mark Magnuson of Wisconsin; Jessica Carmichael of Ellettsville; sister, Sandy and John Hardin; and brother Gary Britton. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Martindale and her mother, Thelma Britton. Judy fought a long hard battle with Lewy Body Dementia. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Friday, March 11, 2022 at the Allen Funeral Home 4155 S. Old St Rd 37 Bloomington. With Rev Matthew Upshaw officiating. Burial will follow at the Greene County Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022 from 11:00am to service time at the funeral home.
