Sandra Fulford, 78, of Bloomington, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at her residence. She was born on July 25, 1943 in Bloomington; the daughter of Morris and Mildred (Delaney) Yates. Sandy worked as a secretary for 43 years with Monroe County School Corporation. She was a member of Family Life Church. Sandy was a natural caretaker and devoted homemaker, who will be remembered for her good cooking, hospitality, and caring for others. Sandy’s most treasured times were spent with her granddaughters and traveling to her favorite destination, Florida. Sandy is survived by her beloved husband, James Fulford; son, Tim Fulford; granddaughters, MacKenzi Fulford and Samantha Fulford; siblings, Connie Anderson, Mike Yates, and Kim Hays; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and uncle and aunt, Homer and Opal Nobblet. A funeral service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home and Crematory, 4155 South Old State Road 37, Bloomington.
