Tammy L. Stremming Jeffress, 64, of Bloomington, Indiana went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 21, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on January 12, 1958 in Bloomington, Indiana the daughter of Henry Lee and Ruby Joyce (Jacobs) Dyer. Tammy was a 1976 graduate of Bloomington High School North. Tammy married Chance Wayne Jeffress on March 26, 2007 in Bloomington, Indiana they were happily married fourteen years. She was a member of Family Worship Center. Tammy was a prolific Entrepreneur, throughout her forty year career she helped start and grow several successful businesses that are still in operation today, Lil Rascals Daycare, Lil Guys and Gals and Jump N’ Joeys. When Tammy wasn’t working, she was very involved with all of her grandchildren (and most recent addition her first great-granddaughter). She was also an avid traveler with her husband Chance, when one trip finished, she was already planning their next one. Tammy also really enjoyed shopping, working out, and maintained an impeccable sense of style. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her. Tammy is survived by her husband, Chance W. Jeffress; Her parents, Henry Dyer and Ruby Dyer; her children, Shane (Carrie) Stremming; Shannon (Reuben) Vandeventer; Shanda (Jared) Taylor; Chance (Miranda) Jeffress; Sarah Otts; nine Grandchildren, Landon (Ana) Stremming; Jacob Stremming; Hailey Vandeventer; Hannah Vandeventer; Julian Otts; Mason Taylor; Averie Otts; Hayden Vandeventer and Maya Taylor; one great granddaughter, Kamille Stremming; her brother, Rev. Scott (Jeanette) Dyer; her sister Susan (David) Rutter; and loved by many nieces; nephews; Aunts; Uncles; cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Earl & Beulah Jacobs and Albert & Mary Dyer. A funeral service will be held at 7:00pm Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at the Family Life Worship Center. With Rev Tracy Noel Officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to service time Tuesday January 25, 2022 at the church. Burial will be held on Wednesday January 26, 2022 at 1:00pm at Clear Creek Cemetery. Allen Funeral Home and Crematory, 4155 S. Old State Rd. 37 in Bloomington have been entrusted with arrangements.
