Thomas "Michael" Noel Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Thomas “Michael” Noel, 70, of Bloomington passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at his home after an extended illness. He was born on March 5, 1952 in Bloomington, Indiana the son of Thomas Frederick and Madonna June (Chandler) Noel. Michael was a 1970 graduate of Bloomington High School South. He also attended Stockton Bible College in Stockton, California where he studied Theology. Michael was an Apostolic Evangelist and Pastor of Clinton Apostolic Church in Clinton Indiana. In the early years Michael and his family traveled and made an album titled The Noel Family “Until He comes.” He enjoyed playing piano and painting he also was a great cook except for his concoction of Spanish eggs. He loved putting on church programs and would direct them like he was directing a show on broadway. Michael had a childhood with loving parents, his two sisters and a brother. When he heard his sisters say Thomas Michael! He knew he was in hot water. Although he was troubled in his later years Micheal had such tremendous talent musically and in art. Sometimes Michael could be very dramatic but when he did something he did it with his whole heart. With love our entire family would like to share the words to an old song “Turn your eyes upon Jesus look full in his wonderful face and the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of his glory and grace.” Michael is survived by his children, listed by age Misti (Ryan) Harless of Terre Haute; Rev. Jeremy (Sarah) Noel of Broken Arrow, OK; five grandchildren, Evie Noel; Olivia Bell; Paisley Noel; Gibson Bell and Ella Harless; his sister’s, Ronda J. (John) Fleener of Bloomington; Tonya K. (Foster) Tiller of Bloomington; his brother, Rev. Tracy (Rhea) Noel of Bloomington; the mother of his children, Pamela Rowe of South Bend; his aunt, Sharon Wampler of Mitchell; and several nieces and nephews. His previous son in law Aaron (Amy) Bell were also part of his life. He was preceded in Death by his parents, Thomas and Madonna Noel and a grandson, Oliver Noel. No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation Rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers the family ask memorial contributions to be made to the Family Life Worship Center at 8449 N Fox Hollow Rd Bloomington, Indiana 47408.
