Deloris "Dee" Ann Crum

Deloris "Dee" Crum, 74, of Bloomington, Indiana, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2026, after courageously facing years of health challenges. Even though she endured many difficult battles, she did so with remarkable strength, grace, and love for those around her. Born on August 15, 1951, in Bloomington, Indiana, daughter of Everett and Nellie Reynolds. In 1971, she married the love of her life, Stephen Crum. Together they shared 55 years of marriage, building a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to their family. Dee was an Administrative Assistant at Target for many years before retiring. She later worked for Baxter Pharmaceuticals for a short time before fully retiring. Family was the center of Dee's world. She is survived by her devoted husband, Stephen Crum; her daughters, Stephanie Combs (Steve Combs), and Laura Inman (Seth Inman); her cherished grandchildren, Bella Inman, Lucas Inman, Tessa Hart, Kyla Terrell, and Breanna Hart; and her treasured great-grandchildren, Cameron Kannapel, Karrsyn Kannapel, and Karrlyn Kannapel. She is also survived by her sister, Sandra Valerio, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Nellie Reynolds, and by her siblings, Jim Reynolds, Lois Hatton, Martha Johnson, and Rick Reynolds. Above all else, Dee’s world revolved around her family. She cherished every gathering, whether it was a large family reunion, a birthday celebration, a milestone event, or a simple Sunday dinner. Though her extended family is large, they remain exceptionally close, and Dee loved every single member with all her heart. She enjoyed the family vacations she went on as a child and recently recounted the majestic beauty of the Grand Teton Mountains and her love of them. Dee will be remembered for her compassionate heart, her gentle spirit, and her willingness to help anyone in need. She was a great listener, always making people feel welcomed, understood, and loved. Her kindness and selflessness touched countless lives. The love she gave so freely will continue to live on through her family and everyone fortunate enough to have known her. Her presence was the anchor at every table, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Allen Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m., followed by burial at Clover Hill Cemetery. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the love, prayers, and support shown during this difficult time.
