Emily Ann (Healy) Vest

Emily Ann (Healy) Vest, born on August 20, 1945, in New Hartford, New York, went to be with the Lord on March 6, 2023, in Bloomington, Indiana. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be cherished by all who knew her. She was the wife of Gary Dean Vest and a mother to John H Warriner and Cheryl L Warriner, who survive her. Ann was also a proud grandmother to five grandchildren, John Holten Warriner (Bailey), Madeline Elizabeth Warriner, Skye Warriner, Evan Alexander Warriner and Lilly Vest (Molly). She is also survived by her sister-in-law Brenda (Chris) Harrison. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Helen (Sears) Healy; and a stepson, Andrew Jason Vest. Ann attended Ohio Wesleyan University where she met her first husband Jack Warriner and graduated with a degree in early childhood education. Throughout her life, she lived in New Ulm, Minnesota; Batavia, Illinois; Salem, Indiana and Bloomington, Indiana. Ann had a passion for traveling and spent time enjoying the beauty of White Lake in upstate New York, and Sanibel Island, Florida. Ann was an active member of her church, Turning Point Apostolic Church, for twenty-one years and a former member of Whitehall Pentecostal Church for several years. She devoted much of her time to her faith and was known for her kindness, generosity, and love for her community. Ann enjoyed crafting and scrapbooking, antiques, and going to auctions and yard sales, and she cherished spending time with her grandkids. Ann will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her memory will live on through the love and compassion that she shared with everyone she met. A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm Friday, March 10, 2023 at the Turning Point Apostolic Church 210 W. Vine St in Ellettsville. With Rev Ron Hawkins officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00pm to service time Friday March 10, 2023 also at the church. Cremation Rites have been accorded. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Fragile X Foundation or the American Cancer Society or TPAC Building Fund. Allen Funeral Home and Crematory have been entrusted with arrangements.
