Preston R. Pameijer

Preston R. Pameijer, 30, of Bloomington, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 12, 2019. He was born on March 18, 1989 in Atlanta, GA the son of Rudolf and Deborah Lynn (Cochran) Pameijer. Preston was a 2007 graduate of Indian Creek High School. He was also a 2012 graduate of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, where he received his bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Bio Medical Engineering. He married Heatheranne Tuccio on September 20, 2014 in Nashville, Indiana. Preston was a Senior Product Development Engineer at Cook Medical. He started working at Cook Medical as an intern in 2011 and continued working there after graduation. Preston adored his wife and daughter and was excited about the arrival of his son in December. He loved spending time with family and friends. Preston was a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity, American Motorcycle Association, volunteered as a math tutor and for the Boys and Girls Club in Bloomington. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed rock climbing, riding dirt bikes, camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, skiing, mushroom hunting, and kayaking. He swam and played football in high school and continued on to play football and lacrosse for Rose-Hulman. Preston was always up for an adventure and willing to help anyone at a moment's notice. Preston’s easy going, kind personality will be missed by all that loved and knew him. Preston is survived by his wife, Heatheranne Pameijer of Bloomington; a daughter, Laurel Anne Pameijer and a son on the way, his father, Rudi Pameijer of Indiana and his mother, Debbie Pameijer of California; he is also survived by his three sisters, Shannon (Anthony) Gantzer of Pennsylvania; Ashley (Gary) Gantzer of Colorado; Lindsay (Charlie Sayer) of Massachusetts; and nieces and nephews, Hadley Gantzer, Alyce Gantzer, Rowan Gantzer, Penelope Sayer, Madeline Sayer; and his mother-in-law Robin C. Newtown of Bloomington. Preston was preceded in death by his grandparents, Chalmus and Marguerite Cochran; and Henricus J. and Maria Pameijer. A celebration of life will be held at HayCo Farms, 5125 S Stanford Road, Bloomington IN 47403 at 2pm. Cremation Rites have been accorded Allen Funeral Home and Crematory have been entrusted with arrangements.
