Terry Raymond Dorman

Terry Raymond Dorman 46 of Bloomington IN passed away on August 27th 2025 at the IU Health facility in Bloomington. Terry was born in Bloomington IN to Donna and Terry J. Dorman and spent most of his childhood growing up in Solsberry with his sister, Barbara Dorman. Terry graduated from Eastern Greene High School and later attended Ivy Tech Community College. While attending he was on the Deans list and received a Degree of Associate of Applied Science in Computer Information Systems. From October 9,2004-July 15, 2015 he was married to Ashly Dorman with whom he had three children Connor, Peyton and Sophia. He enjoyed spending time with his kids whom he loved very much and was very proud of them. Terry was also very talented in art and enjoyed drawing and painting throughout his life. He had a big heart and maintained a positive outlook even during contrasting times. He was a great friend to many and had maintained his core friend group from high school “Once a friend always a friend”. Additionally, he was a huge fan of Marvel and Pokemon. He very much enjoyed time with his friends and loved spending time with his dog Lily whom he would dress up like Pikachu. He will be greatly missed by his children, friends, and family as he watches over us until we meet again. Proceeded in death by Grandfathers: Jan G. Dorman, Donald O. Bay and Alfred Broadstreet Grandmothers: Patricia Dorman, Hazel Broadstreet Aunt: Tracy Jo Dorman Uncle: Jerry Strahle Cousin: Abby (Dorman) Woederman and 8 Great grandparents. Survived by children: Connor, Peyton and Sophia Dorman, ex-wife: Ashley Dorman, parents: Terry Jan Dorman, Donna Bay Broadstreet and James Broadstreet, sister: Barbara Dorman; two nephews, Benjamin Southern and Malik Dorman; and two nieces, Beyonce Smiley and Aaliyah Dorman; grandmothers: Viola Mae Bay and Carolyn Berkey as well as multiple aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be held on September 27, 2025 at 1710 N. Kinser Pike Bloomington, IN from 3-5pm. Eulogy will begin at 4pm.
